I'm Still Here!

I’ve been sucking hardcore balls. I can’t say that blogging was ever my strong point. If anything, ball-sucking would probably be more my forte. Kind of a shitty comparison, but it’s better than making excuses at this point.

Summer’s been hot and annoying, which is like most summers because I spend so much time working and so little time for leisure. Nevertheless, I’ve got a couple new stories in the works and I did have a piece accepted for an anthology that will be coming out later this year. I’ll (maybe) update you on that when I get more details (if I don’t decide to indulge in more ball-sucking by then).

I also drunkenly cut myself a set of bangin’ bangs. No regrets, either.

ALSO, I forgot to post a link to my latest story, QUARTER TANK OF GAS, which is featured over at InfectiveINk.

Now that fall’s in the works, I’ve got plans to be a better blogger, which will thus make me a better writer and probably not as good a ball-sucker (which is okay because I’ve got far too many hobbies, anyway). I’m hoping to be able to make regular posts on writing and feminism and sex and Canada and all the things that I hold near and dear to me, which is in turn all the things that I ultimately end up making stories out of. My goal is to expose more of the craft and more of the mundane lifestyle of an up-and-coming lady-writer.

Who knows, it might even be the slightest bit interesting?
